3D scanning

With a 3D scanner, images, artwork, forms that are difficult to measure technically and all types of objects can be scanned. The scanner must, however, be able to reach every side of the object. The scanner measures the various points of the object to the scanner and this creates a 3D point cloud. The point cloud can, next, be edited using the appropriate software.

The scan be used to create a detailed magnification or blow-up, to scale a sculpture to rout a replica 3D image of this or to make a template to ensure the original model can be poured in concrete.
